Network Installation

NTP

NTP (Network Time Protocol) is used to set the date and time of the system at start and every
subsequent 24 hour period, as well as any time the NTP parameters are modified. This feature ensures
that the device's time stays synchronized with the NTP server specified.
If the device is configured to use DHCP, an NTP server, or the GMT offset is provided by the DHCP
server, then the data entered here will be overwritten by the corresponding DHCP retrieved items.
Note:
Enabling NTP or modifying NTP settings will cause a system reset.
