20.1 When faxing is not performed correctly

• To explain the solution when faxing is not performed correctly.
NOTE
• bizhub C25 does not support the "ISDN/DSL/ADSL" line officially, it may cause the
fax failed in such user environment.

Can not send a fax

• To explain the solution when fax can not be sent.
Is operation correct?
YES
Is TX result report printed out?
YES
Does the phone line have any
problem?
NO

Cause Wrong fax number.
Action Please check your fax number, then try again.
Cause The number you dial is not a fax number.
Action Make a phone call by your fax number. If you do
not hear the beep sound, the number you call is
not a fax number.
Cause The faxes can not be sent due to the error message.
Action Check the latest TX result in "TX result report" .
If it displayed the error code, please refer to the
"Error code list" for solutions.
Cause The phone line cable connects incorrectly.
Action Machine has two phone line jacks, if you use
incorrect one, the TX will be failed.
If the phone jack is correctly install, you can hear
dial tone when press down the "On hook" key.
Cause The dialing setting is incorrect.
Action Set appropriate dialing type in TX machine as your
actual phone line network capability. (DTMF/PULSE)
Cause The phone line system has problems.
Action Test your phone line system by using a telephone.
If the phone number can not be called out, your
phone line system may have some problems, not
fax machine.
