Updating the UNIX

Press <Enter>.
You see the following Confirm window:
/iI.
You will now be prompted to type a
new password.
The password will not
appear on the screen as you type
it,
for security reasons.
Touch ENTER to continue
or CANCl to stop.

Press <Enter>.

Type the new root password and press
<Return>.
Use any characters except @, backspace, or
control characters.
The system recognizes a
maximum of eight characters.
(For security
purposes, your typed password does not appear
on the screen.)
Do not type a password that
is too hard to remember.
Note
You must type the same password twice to
protect against typing errors.
If you
make an error, you see this message:
They don't match; try again.

Retype your password.

Press <Return>.
After you type the password twice, the Administration
menu appears again.

The next time you log in, you must use your new
password.
Do not forget your password!
