Restoring the Default System Font
If you install a new font in slot 0 and then see
garbled characters when you check the Font Name menu:

Press <Enter> from the Font Setup menu.

Press <Enter> again for each of the two
windows that look like Confirm windows (even
if you cannot read the garbled contents) .

Close all other active windows until the
Office is the only active window on your
screen.

Press <Cmd> to display the Office Commands
menu (which may contain garbled characters)

Type sh and press <Enter> to perform a system
shutdown.
(When the shutdown is complete,
your system will use the default system font
again.)

Press <Enter> for both windows that appear
(even if the characters are garbled) .

Press <Return> to respond to the message in
the upper-left corner of the screen.
This
action reboots your system.
Adding New Users
To use the system, you must first log in--that is, type
a name recognized by the system as an authorized user.
You must add a new user login to the system so a new
user can log in.
To add a new user, you follow a procedure starting from
the Administration menu of the install login.
You must
log in as install before attempting to add users.
You can change user login information once you have
entered it, or you can remove the information so the
user is no longer recognized by the system and
therefore cannot log in.
