Setting
UP
the Built-In Modem
You can use the Modem Setup feature to configure the
built-in modem to comply with international standards.
You can configure the modem to operate in either Bell
212 or CCITT mode.
The mode settings you specify are saved in a
configuration file.
Once you change the settings,
reboot the system to initialize the built-in modem to
the appropriate settings.
To set up the built-in modem for international
standards:
