The Device Types menu appears as shown below:

The following list explains the device types:
NONE
Default entry.
Appears if nothing
is set up on the RS-232 port.
Also
used to remove a configured device.
MODEM
Connects an external modem to the
RS-232 port.
TERMINAL
Connects a terminal to the RS-232
port.
COMPUTER
Connects another computer to the RS-
232 port.
OTHER
Connects other devices such as a
plotter to the RS-232 port.
Note
Use the Printer Setup selection in the
Hardware menu to configure a serial
printer on the RS-232 port.
