Using Office Commands
You will briefly see the following message:
IF YOU
PLAN ON MOVING OR SHIPPING THE UNIX PC, PLEASE REBOOT
THE DIAGNOSTICS DISK TO PARK THE DISK HEADS.
This
message means to insert the Diagnostics floppy disk;
then press the reset button to display the Diagnostics
menu.
After choosing the Park Disk Heads selection,
you can safely move or ship the UNIX PC to a new
location.
You need to park the disk heads only if you are gojng
to move the UNIX PC to a new location.
It is not
necessary to park the disk heads every time you shut
down the system.
When the shutdown procedure is complete, you see the
following message.
Do not turn off the power untiJ you
see the following message:
Ready to power off or reset the machine.
Press RETURN to reboot
You can safely turn the power off now.
To continue
using the UNIX PC, press the Return key to restart
(reboot) the system; rebooting can take five to ten
minutes.
Time Command
The Time command displays the system date and time,
which is for use on remote workstations.
It is
selectable only from the Commands menu.
To display the date and time:

Select ITimel
from the Commands menu.
