Updating the UNIX PC
Dialcodes
Mail Setup lets you create dialcodes, which contain
numbers, Electronic Mail special dialing characters,
and other dialcode names.
(For a list of Electronic
Mail special dialing characters, see the description of
the Telephone number: field under "The Edit Mail Entry
Form" above.)
Use dialcodes to avoid retyping frequently dialed
numbers, such as access codes, long distance service
codes, and overseas access codes.
The use of dialcodes
also saves disk storage space.
When you create a dialcode, it is listed as an entry in
the Dialcodes menu.
The following paragraphs describe
how to create, edit, and delete dialcode entries.
