Using Office Commands
Copying Several Files into Another Folder
You can also copy more than one file at a time when you
are copying files into another folder.
When you copy
more than one file at a time within the same folder,
you are prompted to rename each copied file.
To copy several files into another folder:
1
Open or resume the folder containing the
files you want to copy.
2
Select the files you want to copy.
3
Press <Copy> or select I Copy I from the
Commands menu.
The message Open destination folder and touch
PASTE appears.
4
Open or resume the folder in which you want
to place the copied files.
5
Press [PASTE] or select IPastel from the
Commands menu.
The highlighted files are copied into the destination
folder with the same names.
If the destination folder
already contains files with the same names as any of
the files you are copying, you are prompted to rename
each duplicate file name.
Copying a Folder
When you copy a folder, you copy the folder and
everything in it into a new location.
The folder keeps
the same name.
You cannot copy a folder into itself.
For example, you
cannot copy the practice folder and paste it into the
Filecabinet/practice window.
The following procedure assumes that you want to copy
the folder into another folder or into the Filecabinet.
If you want to copy a folder onto a floppy disk, see
"Using Floppy Disks" in this section.
