Recommended action
1.
Remove the duplexer (if installed).
Remove the left door, and then remove the fuser.
Remove any jammed paper from the fuser, and then reinstall the fuser.
NOTE:
Reinstall the left door, and duplexer (if removed).
Close the left door.
2.
Perform a cleaning page procedure to clean the fuser rollers.
3.
Use the Manual sensor tests to toggle the fuser output sensor (SR12). If the sensor is not properly
functioning, replace the fuser.
4.
If the error persist, the fuser pressure roller might be damaged. Replace the fuser.
13.B9.DD Fuser area jam (top cover)
Description
This jam occurs when the leading edge of the page does not reach the fuser output sensor (SR12) in the
designated amount of time.
Recommended action
1.
Open the left door to release fuser roller pressure.
IMPORTANT:
Open the top cover, and then remove the toner cartridge.
Remove any jammed paper, and then reinstall the toner cartridge.
Close the top cover and left door.
2.
Check the paper path and rollers at the fuser and duplexer for damage. Replace the fuser or
duplexer if necessary.
3.
Use the Manual sensor tests to toggle the fuser output sensor (SR12). If the sensor is not properly
functioning, replace the fuser.
4.
Inspect the following connectors:
Fuser, J1
