5.1 Basic Setup

FUJITSU Storage ETERNUS DX60 S2 Disk storage system User's Guide -Installation-
On the [Set SAS Port Parameters] screen, set the information for the connection (detailed
SAS port information) between the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system SAS port and the
server.

Select a port and specify the required items in "Port Settings", and click the [Next>]
button.
A confirmation screen appears.

Click the [OK] button.
The port parameters are set, and the [Setup Network Environment] screen appears.
Setup Network Environment
Set the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system environment for network communication.
Set the necessary items such as a MNT port IP address, subnet mask, and default
gateway, and click the [Next>] button.
Never set all of the "Interface" fields ("http", "https", "telnet",
IMPORTANT
"SSH", "Maintenance", "Maintenance-Secure", and "ICMP") to
"Disable". If all of the protocols for the ports are disabled, access
from the network service to the ETERNUS DX Disk storage
system cannot be performed.
If the device becomes inaccessible in this way, pressing the
Controller Enclosure's IP RESET Switch twice in succession
within a two second interval will reset it to its factory default
settings, and reallow network access.
