Actions and Questions
Check the output of the DC-DC converter

(P4510 only):
1. Disconnect P/J40 from the LVPS.
2. Turn the power ON.
3. Measure the voltages at the following test
points:
P/J40-1 <=> P/J40-2: 3.3 V
P/J40-3 <=> P/J40-4: 5 V
Are the voltages measured within the
specified range?
Check the LVPS harness for continuity:

1. Turn the power OFF.
2. Disconnect P/J11 from the HVPS/engine
logic board.
3. Disconnect P/J41 from the LVPS.
4. Check each conductor in the harness for
continuity.
Is each conductor of J11 <=> J41
continuous?

Is the AC power supply outlet correctly
wired and grounded?
Note
The DC-DC converter is an integral part of the LVPS in the P4510. This
procedure applies only to the stand-alone board used in the P4500.
