WHEEL ALIGNMENT
FRONT
TOE INSPECTION
Place the vehicle on level ground with the front wheels
facing straight
ahead.
Mark the centers
of
the tires with
chalk
to indicate the
axle center height.
Align the toe-gauge [11
with
the marks on the tires as
shown.
Slowly move Ihe vehicle back until the wheels have

aligned with the gauge height.

Measure Ihe toe on Ihe rear part of the tires at the same

Rear
When
Ihe toe
is out
of specification. adjust it by

changing the length
of
both tie-rods [1] equally by
loosening the lock nuts [2] and turning each tie-rod
while
holding Ihe ball joint [3]

After adjusting the tie-rods, lighten each lock nut while
holding the ball jOint.

not twisted or
