Measure the tread depth at the center of the tires in al

using a tire depth gauge

Replace the tires when the tread depth reaches the

Raise the wheels off the ground and check the bearings
in the hub for excessive play

abnormal noise

Check the wheels for crack

TIE-ROD AND JOINT BOOT

the tie-rod joint nuts for
looseness.
Check the ball joint boots of the tie-rod [1] for tears or
other damage.
Check for any looseness of the tie-rod ball Joints

holding and attempting to move the wheel at the top
and bottom and at the front and
rear.
If any looseness is
noted,
inspect the following
