20.2. Density determining of liquids

It is determining mass of a plunger if weighed in the air and in tested liquid.
The density of tested liquid is calculated according to a formula:
ρ - density of liquid
A - plunger mass measured in the air
B - plunger mass measured in tested liquid
V - plunger's volume
d - air density ( max 0,001 g/cm
Before starting the procedure, assembly the density determination kit, and
insert to balance's memory volume of the plunger.
− Press <
− The display opens a menu, press <
insert the numeric value of volume specified on plunger's hanger,
− The balance is ready to start density determining process of liquid.
PROCEDURE
1. Assembly the density determination kit
2. Should the density value be saved in a product record of the database of
products, set parameter <Assign density to product> in <Settings> and
activate product using quick access key <Product>,
3. Press <
4. Follow displayed commands,
5. Carry out measurement in the air, and on stabilization of measurement
result press <
6. Carry out measurement in tested liquid, and on stabilization of
measurement result press <
7. The display indicates result of determined liquid density,
8. Press <
