Consider the following before changing the system's date and time:
The system retains all configuration data, including the date and time, during power
l
outages.
If you select the System Date/Time option while conferences are active, the system
l
displays a warning message and sounds a warning tone. Exit without changing the date/
time setting.
The system automatically adjusts the system time and date for Daylight Savings at the
l
appropriate time on the proper date. However, if the system is powered down, the time
and date revert to the previous time and date settings. Therefore, we recommend that you
save the new system date and time each time an automatic time change occurs.
The system time can be automatically synchronized with an external time source that
l
supports Network Time Protocol (NTP). Contact your Support representative for additional
information.
If you change the date while the conference scheduler is running, the system displays the
