4. Run the batch load script located in the /usr/dcb/dbase/bridgedb/ directory:
cd..
$ ./batchload_pins.sh -load
Or, if using text files created on a system prior to version 3.3, use this command:
$ ./batchload_pins.sh -pre33file
The system displays this message:
This mode supports loading PIN lists and codes into the database
in several sub-modes:
Append
Purge
adds the PIN lists & codes in the batch load file(s)to the database.
Replace - Replace will only replace those PIN lists in the database where a
replacement PIN list is provided for in the batch load file(s). In addition, any
PIN codes in the batch load file(s) not in a PIN list will be added to the
database.
Enter 'a' for append
Enter 'p' for purge
Enter 'r' for replace
Enter 'q' to quit
5. Type "a" to append records to the existing pin list.
The system displays this prompt:
