Warning Tones Specifies whether or not the system plays warning tones to
remind conferees that conference time is about to expire.
The frequency with which tones are sounded is specified by
the Warning Tone Configuration option. For more information,
see
Originator Dial Defines whether or not moderators are able to use their
Out (ODO) telephones to access an open line for dial out and add
conferees to an active conference. This is useful for
contacting conferees who cannot dial in.
Note:
Enabled — The system disconnects all lines when a
l
conference duration expires. All lines become
immediately available, a feature especially important on
a fully unattended system. (If the System Configuration
Auto-Extend Duration parameter is enabled, the
conference can be automatically extended up to 100
minutes beyond the specified end time.)
Disabled (default) — The system does not
l
automatically disconnect all lines.(Auto-Extend is not
required if Auto Hang-up is disabled.)
System Configuration
Enabled — The system plays warning tones before
l
disconnecting conference lines.
Note: To play Warning Tones, Auto Hang-up must be
l
enabled.
Disabled (default) — The system does not play warning
l
tones before disconnecting conference lines.
Configuring Warning Tones
Disabled (default) — Moderators cannot dial out
l
regardless of whether the conference is secured or not.
Unsecured — Unattended moderators of unsecured
l
conferences can access free lines for dial out, if
sufficient channels are set to allow ODO. For more
information on setting channel ODO, see
Configuration on page 84.
All—Moderators can dial out for both secured and non
l
secured conferences.
