Adding Toner

When toner supply is low, "ADD TONER" icon displays on the touch screen.
Add toner according to the procedure as follows.
Basic Screen
CAUTION
Keep the toner bottle away from children. The toner is nontoxic; however if you inhale or
contact with eyes by accident, flush with water and seek medical advice.
CAUTION
Do not throw the empty toner cartridge into a fire. If it is thrown into a fire, the toner may
ignite and cause a dangerous situation.

Procedure
1 Open the copier front door, then pull out the toner unit 90° to the right.
2 Pull the toner bottle lock lever frontward until it stops.
3 Remove the empty toner bottle.
