Place Originals ... FACE UP in RADF
Normal SDF mode:
Position a sheet of original in the document
feeder.
Never set more than one original, otherwise
machine trouble may be caused.
NOTES:
• For details on positioning originals, see p. 4-
4.
• Original paper specification will be different
in simplex and duplex copying modes. See
p. 4-3.
Auto Start mode with RADF store mode:
1 Adjust the paper guides according to the original size to be set, then position a sheet
of original in the document feeder.
The set original will be automatically fed and scanned.
Never set more than one original, otherwise machine trouble may be caused.
NOTES:
• Original paper specification will be different in simplex and duplex copying modes. See p. 4-3.
• If the original has already been placed in the document feeder before selecting the SDF mode,
the Auto Start will not function. In this case, touch STORE to select the RADF store mode, then
press [START] to scan.
2 Touch STORE to exit the RADF store mode. The highlighted STORE key will restore
normal indication.
