4.9 Will not Auto-Answer
Symptom: The unit rights but will not auto-answer.
Suggested corrective action:
1. Check the power cord and AC switch.
2. Verify the telephone line is properly installed.
3. Verify recording paper in the paper cassette.
4. Check the memory capacity. The unit will not answer incoming calls if memory full.
5. Check the number of rings is set to answer on. If set to a high number of rings, the transmitting unit may
"time out".
6. Insure the unit is in the Fax Ready mode.
7. Check the operation of the NCU PCB and the main control PCB.
