The machine is receiving an
on-demand e-mail message
(e-mail inquiry from the
administrator).

The paper is fed at a slant.
The number of feeding into
the paper tray exceeds the
capacity of the machine.
The paper tray's side fences
are set too tightly.
The paper is damp.
The paper is too thick or too
thin.
Solutions
After the e-mail is received, press
[Manual E-mail RX], and then try
again.

Load the paper correctly. See "Loading

• When loading paper into the
paper tray, load paper only as
high as the upper limit markings
on the side fences of the paper.
• When loading paper on the
bypass tray, load only as much
paper as can be held between
the guides on the bypass tray.
Push the side fences lightly, and then
reset it.
• Use recommended paper. For

• Use paper that has been stored in
the recommended temperature
and humidity conditions. For
