Causes
In [Effective Protocol], the IP
address is not enabled, or an
incorrect IP address has been
registered.
The "Effective Protocol" and
"SIP Server IP Address"
settings are different, or an
incorrect IP address has been
registered.
Messages Displayed When Using the Facsimile Function
Solutions
• In [System Settings], under
[Interface Settings], select
[Effective Protocol], and then
check that "IPv4" is programmed
to "Active". You can also use the
Web Image Monitor for
confirmation. See Web Image
Monitor Help.
• In [System Settings], under
[Interface Settings], select
[Machine IPv4 Address], and
then check that the IP address is
correctly programmed. You can
also use the Web Image Monitor
for confirmation. See Web Image
Monitor Help.
• Contact your administrator.
