The default value for the retry and timeout settings if they are not

will make no further
# attempts

Other local_server.

You can use
to override any setting in the
local_server.properties
properties
shared
file. This section details the most common
server.properties
Configurations
examples. Note that many of the settings for the servers should be shared
otherwise the Dormant server once it becomes Active will not be the
equivalent of the Active server it has replaced. All the typical
server-specific settings are provided in
but
local_server.properties
are commented out so that the
setting is
shared server.properties
used wherever possible.

SNMP Trap Forwarding

In Server Failover mode, the trap forwarding setting should be made in
the
file if both servers should forward SNMP traps to
server.properties
the same destination. If however your setup requires that each server
should forward traps to different locations, make those different settings
in each server's
setting in the
SNMP.forward
local_server.properties
file.

TFTP Server Directory

The TFTP Server setting
should be set in
tftpServer.tftpbootDirectory
. Both servers must use a local tftpboot
local_server.properties
directory, for filesystem security reasons.
