ANAGEMENT LATFORM
The oid_to_sym file associates a sys object ID to a symbol type (for
example, a Connector). A typical entry is:
1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.27.4.1.2.4:Connector:SuperStack 3 Switch

The oid_to_type file associates a sysobject ID with the type of device. The
following list the device types:
B = bridge

MB = bridge with multiple IP
■
The Switch 4900 with agent version 2.0, set up to function as a router,
requires the type MBR (multi-bridge router). Version 1.0 of the
Integration Kit shows type MB. You can either change the entry manually
or install version 1.1 of the Integration Kit.
G = gateway

H = hub
■
R = router
■
A typical entry is:
