VERVIEW
When you start the EMS GUI, the 3Com EMS Advisor window opens. The
Advisor window displays status information on a selected device, as well
as MIB definitions on a selected property.
To open the EMS Advisor window, use one of the following methods:
Click the Advisor icon, see

From the Help menu, click Show Advisor.

The Advisor window is resizable and it allows scrolling if the
information is too verbose for a single screen display. To close the
Advisor window, click the Hide button located at the bottom of the
Advisor window.
Select the Show on Startup check box to enable the Advisor Window
on startup.
The EMS Online help comprises the contents of the EMS User Guide in
HTML format. It describes how to install, configure, operate, and
maintain each EMS software component.
To open the Online help, use one of the following methods:
Click the Help contents icon.

Click the Help menu, and select Contents.

The EMS GUI client allows you to print various types of information to any
configured network printer. EMS allows you to print from various GUI
windows, such as equipment inventory reports (see
