The EMS GUI client is independent of the EMS server. Therefore, the
procedures in this section assume that the EMS server is running. You can
start the EMS GUI client using shortcut options or commands from a
command prompt described in this section.
To run the EMS GUI client using Windows shortcut options:
1 Double-click the EMS GUI icon.

You can also double-click the GUIClient.jar icon within Windows Explorer.
After initialization, a standard EMS GUI splash screen and Login dialog
box open, as shown in
