Restoring the BIOS Defaults

If you need to restore the BIOS default settings, the BIOS Default jumper will need to be
used.
1. Power down the system; do not disconnect the AC power.
2. Open the server system. For instructions on removing the system cover, see
"Removing the Server System Cover" on page
3. Locate the BIOS Default jumper block at board position J1E7.
4. Move the jumper from the normal operation position (covering pins 1 and 2) to the
Set Default position (covering pins 2 and 3).

5. Wait five seconds.
6. Return the BIOS Default jumper to the normal position (covering pins 1 and 2).
7. Close the server system.
8. Power up the system.
The BIOS defaults settings are now restored and can be reset by going into the
BIOS setup.
