Displaying CDP Neighbors Information

Use the CDP Neighbors Information page to display information on CDP aware
devices on the network, and to display the topology of those devices connected to
the switch.
Command Attributes
• Capability Codes – Describes the capabilities of CDP-aware devices on the
network from a numbered list (1-9).
• Neighbor Types – Describes the attributes of CDP-aware devices on the network
from a numbered list (0-8).
• Device ID – A unique identity tag given to each network device.
• Local Interface – The port on which the device is connected.
• Hold Time – The time the switch waits for an update CDP packet from neighbor
devices before aging out the entry. If a neighbor device has a longer Hold Time, the
switch waits the additional time before discarding the entry. (Range: 15-600
seconds; Default: 180 seconds).
• Capability – References one or more of the Capability Codes.
• Neighbor Type – References one or more of the Neighbor Types.
• Neighbor IP – The IP address of the network device.
• Port ID – The port number.
Web – Select Enterasys, CDP, Neighbors Information.
