Mechanical installation

Before installing or removing an option module in any drive, ensure the AC supply has
been disconnected for at least 10 minutes and refer to Chapter 1 Safety information on
page 6. If using a DC bus supply ensure this is fully discharged before working on any
drive or option module.

For information on the installation of the SI-EtherCAT option module please refer to the installation
sheet provided with the option module.
Option modules can only be installed on drives that have the option module slot
