Zero Reset Operation
■ Executing/Canceling Zero Reset
When the zero reset function is used, the measured value can be reset to a reference
value of 0 when the ENT key is pressed or an external signal is input.
Executing Zero Reset
1.
Place the reference sensing object in posi-
tion.
2.
Press the SET key.
The zero rest indicator illuminates and the
current measured value is registered as 0
(zero).
When a zero reset is executed, the linear output becomes the voltage (or current) value at the cen-
ter of the two preset points. Linear output becomes roughly 0 V (12 mA) when focus is not set.
Canceling Zero Reset
1.
Press and hold the ESC key for 2seconds or
longer.
