Setting the Date and
Time

Displaying the Date/Time

Open the System Configuration > Date/Time > Date/
Time Settings menu (20301.11).
The current date and time are displayed in [Date/
Time].
For details about setting the date/time, see "Setting the
Date/Time in MLS Manager" (page 496).

Setting the Time Zone

Open the System Configuration > Date/Time > Date/
Time Settings menu (20301.11).

Press the [Change] button in the [Timezone] group.
The [Timezone] window appears.

Select a time zone to set.

Press [OK].
Note
If MLS Manager is running on the primary box, the
time zone setting of MLS Manager is applied. In this
case, the [Change] button is grayed out and the time
zone cannot be configured using this menu.
Setting the Switcher to Act as an
NTP Server
When the switcher is configured to act as an NTP server,
an external device connected to the switcher can access
the NTP server.

Open the System Configuration > Date/Time > Date/
Time Settings menu (20301.11).

Set the [NTP Service for Ext Dev] button to the on
state.
To deny access, set the [NTP Service for Ext Dev]
button to the off state.
Managing Firmware
Versions

Displaying Package Status

You can check information about the installed packages
in the System Configuration > Version > Information
menu (20401.11).
Current System Version: Installed package version
Status: Version status within a package
"OK" is displayed if there is no mismatch.
"
Incorrect Version" is displayed if there is a
mismatch.
The following information is displayed for each box (up
to five)/control panel.
Select a tab to change the box (Logical Box 1 to 5)/control
panel (Panel 1 to 2) display.
Module: Name of module within the box/control panel
Version: Version of module
Date/Time: Modification date and time of module
The display of modification date and time may not be
supported depending on the module.
For details about installing a package, see "Managing
and Installing Firmware Versions" (page 494).

Repairing a Version Mismatch

Open the System Configuration > Version >
Information menu (20401.11).

Press the [Recover] button.

Check the message, then press [OK].
The switcher system reboots.
Note
Once the process has started, it cannot be undone.
