Setting Re-Entry Signals

You can send a re-entry signal or internal signal for a
target box to the cross-point box and then select that
signal on the bus of each box or output that signal on the
output (Output) of each box. You can set the signals to
send to the cross-point box. For the cross-point box, the
signals to use must be assigned.
The number of assignable signals will vary depending on
the system signal format.
2160P format:
For an M/E box: 12 (max)
For a cross-point box: 16 (max)
1080P, 1080i, or 720P format:
For an M/E box: 24 (max)
For a cross-point box: 32 (max)
Notes
• When the output from frame memory or a clip player
sent to the cross-point box is selected on a bus, one line
is dropped from the image.
• In a 1M/E box switcher configuration, this setting is not
required.
• For a cross-point box, set the required signals from
among the re-entry signals and input signals.
• Signals assigned using the Home > Setup > Switcher >
Box Settings > Re-Entry Source Assign menu
(19103.52) have the following restrictions.
