Cross-point box
M/E box
a OUTPUT connectors (BNC type)
Program outputs, preview outputs, and AUX outputs can
be assigned and output as serial video signals.
A format converter can be configured on the odd-
numbered ports of video signals. Signals are either an
"Output" or "Dedicated Output" type, depending on the
type of the assigned signal.

For details about output numbers, see "Input/Output
Numbers" (page 511).
b XPT PORT A to C connectors (QSFP28 type)
Used when building an island with multiple boxes.
Connectors for connecting the cross-point box and M/E
boxes using interconnection cables.
XPT PORT in slot number 1 of the cross-point box is not
used. Do not connect it to anything.

c INPUT connectors (BNC type)
Inputs serial video signals.
A format converter can be configured on the odd-
numbered ports of video signals.
When the system signal format is 2160P, only odd-
numbered connectors are enabled. The port numbers for
odd-numbered connectors 1, 3, 5, 7 and so on become 1,
2, 3, 4 and so on.
