Installation

Installing onto the VCR

Install the board as illustrated.
Time Lapse VCR
Remove the
blank plate.
Note
To install this board, consult your supplier or Sony service
representative.

Connecting to a Computer

Connect to a computer as illustrated.
RS-232C connector
(9-pin D-SUB type)
9-pin D-SUB type cable (not supplied)
Interface cable to be connected to the RS-232C connector
must be shielded as follows.

Setting the Data Transfer Rate

After connecting to a computer, set the data transfer rate in
the <OTHER> menu.
1 Press the MENU button on the VCR to display the
<OTHER> menu.

2 Press the SHIFT $ button to flash "RS-232C", and press
the REC/PLAY SPEED + or – button to set the data
transfer rate (1200, 2400, 4800, or 9600 bps).
3 Press the SEARCH button to return to the normal
screen.
