MAPS

MAPS (Mimaki Advanced Pass System) evens out ink
ejection at pass boundaries to reduce banding between
passes. This function enables you to change the extent to
which MAPS is applied.
• MAPS provides two setting options: "AUTO" and
"MANUAL." Because processing most suitable
for the printing conditions is applied with MAPS,
normally use the default option of "AUTO."
• This function requires Mimaki driver Ver. 4.2.0 or
higher.
• Changing the MAPS settings may change the
color tone. Check the results before use.
• MAPS may not be effective when printing cer-
tain images. Check the results before use.

Auto cleaning

Can be set so that cleaning is performed automatically
after a set number of files, media length, or time to date.
This enables consistent printing, with heads kept clean.
Three auto cleaning options are available, as follows.
FILE
Auto cleaning is performed after the
specified print volume.
LENGTH
Auto cleaning is performed after the
machine has fed the specified length of
media.
TIME
Auto cleaning is performed after the
specified time has elapsed.
