Chapter 2 Basic Operations

Pausing printing

Press [LOCAL] while printing is in

progress.
• Printing is paused.
• If data is being sent from a PC, data transmission
is paused at the PC.
• Press the [REMOTE] key again to resume printing
from the point at which it stopped.
Press [REMOTE].

• Printing resumes.

Clearing received data (Data Clear)

To stop printing, clear the data received.
With the screen in local mode, select
1
[DATA CLEAR].
Press the [ENTER] key to clear the
2
received data.
• The receive buffer is cleared.

Cutting media

You can cut media at any position by using the keys on
the operating panel.
With the screen in local mode, press the
1
jog keys.
• The machine enters origin setup mode.
Press [] to advance the media to the
2
cutting position.
SET ORIGIN

30° /40°30° /35°40° /50°
Select [CUT].

• The media is now cut.
• After cutting, the machine returns to local mode.
