8. Before connecting the detector to the power supply, wait approximately
4 hours to allow the detector to come to room temperature and to allow any
condensation to evaporate.
After 4 hours, check the detector; if condensation still exists, allow the
detector to continue to warm up (without connecting it to the power source)
until the condensation is completely gone.
