An ion chromatography system typically consists of a liquid eluent, a high-pressure pump, a sample injector, a guard and separator column, a chemical suppressor, a conductivity cell, and a data collection system.

  • Page 26 Operating Features Pump Heads The Dionex Aquion RFIC includes a dual-piston serial pump. The flow rate can be set to 0.00 mL/min or to between 0.05 and 5.00 mL/min. For optimum performance, set the flow rate to between 0.40 and 2.00 mL/min. Setting the flow rate to 0.00 mL/min turns off the pump.
