What's this?
• The GSM modules, used by the system need different setting for
Rx audio level and Tx audio level, for required speech level at
analog phones. For this, user has to optimize the gain of RF
module.
• In order to interface Mobile ports with GSM network, few
parameters are required to be programmed. The SIMADO GBR42
provides a facility in which mobile port parameters can be
programmed for following parameters:
• Enable/Disable Port.
• Receive Gain.
• Transmit Gain.
• Inter Digit Wait Timer.
• First Digit Wait Timer.
• Allow/Deny IC Calls
• Frequency Band
• Signal Strength
• DID
How to program?
Mobile Port parameters can be programmed in the following
hierarchy:
Step 1: To enable/disable the Mobile Port using the command 301.
Step 2: To set receive gain to the Mobile Port using the command
302.
Step 3: To set transmit gain to the Mobile Port using the command
303.
Step 4: To set First digit wait timer to the Mobile Port using the
command 304.
Step 5: To set Inter digit wait timer to the Mobile Port using the
command 305.
Step 6: To allow/deny IC calls for Mobile Port using command 308.
Step 7: To program frequency band for Mobile port using command
309.
Step 8: To request the signal strength of the mobile port using
command 311.
Step 9: To enable/disable DID on mobile port using command 671.
