What's this?
Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) is a removable plastic card
and contains an integrated IC chip with a microprocessor, RAM and
ROM.
• The SIM is a smart card containing all subscriber specific data
stored in it.
• A programmed (default) PIN (Personal Identification Number) is
stored on the SIM.
• SIM PIN is a security feature used by the GSM network.
• If the user enters wrong SIM PIN three times in a row, the network
suspects the user and asks for the Personal Unlock Keyword
(PUK).
• If required, user can program the number string using following
Codes for the Special digits:

How to program?
Use following command to program new SIM PIN:
712-Mobile Port-New SIM PIN-#*
Where,
Mobile Port is from 1 to 4.
New SIM PIN is of 4 to 8 digits maximum.
By default, SIM PIN is 1234.
