What's this?
To avoid dialing of a station number or destination number which is
frequently used, the Matrix system offers, a feature by which the user
has to just pick up his handset and the system will automatically dial
out the fixed destination number. This feature is called Fixed Dialing.
How it works?
• The feature can be enabled on Mobile, TE or NT port.
• When routing type 'Fixed' is programmed for the port, call will be
routed to 'Fixed destination Number' programmed for the port after
'First Digit Wait Timer' is expired.
• Fixed destination number can be programmed on NT/TE/Mobile
port.
• If fixed dialing is disabled and caller goes OFF-Hook, then caller
will get 'Error Tone' on expiry of First Digit Wait Timer for NT port.
How to program?
Step 1: To enable/disable fixed dialing on a Mobile Port using
command 631.
Step 2: To program the fixed destination number for the Mobile Port
using command 632.
Step 3: To enable/disable fixed dialing on a TE Port using command
633.
Step 4: To program the fixed destination number for the TE Port
using command 634.
Step 5: To enable/disable fixed dialing on a NT Port using command
635.
Step 6: To program the fixed destination number for the NT Port
using command 636.
Step 1
Use following command to enable/disable fixed dialing on a mobile
port:
631-Mobile Port-Code-#*
Where,
Mobile Port is from 1 to 4.
