By default, Calling Party NPI is 'ISDN Numbering'.

TEI Negotiation Mode
• To integrate the Simado GBR42 with the specific PBX Type (e.g.
Nortel PBX), the parameter TEI Negotiation mode, should be 'fixed'
instead of 'automatic'. Hence the GBR42 supports both options:
Automatic and Fixed. If it is selected as 'Fixed' its value should be
programmed.
Use following command to select TEI Negotiation on the TE port:
422-TE Port-TEI Negotiation Mode-#*
Where,
TE Port is from 1 to 2.

By default, TEI Negotiation Mode is 'Automatic'.
Note:
• GBR42 will get reset when TEI Negotiation Mode is changed for
any port.
Step 22
TEI Negotiation Value
• Program the value if the TEI Negotiation Mode is selected as
'Fixed'.
Use following command to program TEI Negotiation value for the
Fixed TEI Negotiation Mode:
