Where,
TE Port is from 1 to 2.
Value is from 00 to 63.
By default, TEI Negotiation value is 00 for both TE ports.
Note:
• GBR42 will get reset when TEI value for fixed mode is changed for
any port.
• When BRI port of GBR42 is configured as BRI-TE mode, the TEI
value programmed for it should match with the TEI value expected
by the NT equipment at other end.
Important Points:
• TON is the Type Of Number which is used to identify the dialing
structure, used by ISDN service provider and NPI is the
'Numbering Plan Identifier' used to identify the type of network,
used by these services.
• Relax Delay Timer: It is the time between end of one call and
beginning of another call on a port. This timer is approx 1 sec.
Because of this, user should wait till the port to be idle, so that a
new outgoing call can be initiated from the same port.
