Call Processing in SIMADO GBR42

What's this?
• This chapter includes for detailed explanation of call routing from
source port to the destination port. Calls on each port are placed
depending upon the various routing type, member selection
method etc.
• The following block diagram shows the flow of Call Processing in
the SIMADO GBR42:

Explanation of DID
• DID is Direct Inward Dialing. It is the feature by which the caller can
access the system and dial the required number or enter
programming mode on getting the feature tone. The extension
number should be dialed before expiry of the tone. Otherwise caller
will get 'Error Tone'.
How it works?
The call routing is explained for following three cases:
• Calls originating from Mobile Port.
• Calls originating from TE Port.
• Calls originating from NT Port.
Originating Port : Mobile
• If the source port is Mobile Port and RCOC feature is enabled the
call is routed as per RCOC logic. If calling party number is
matching as per the RCOC table then the call is routed to the port
that originated the call. If the feature RCOC is disabled or number
match is not found, the call is routed as per DID (Direct Inward
Dialing) logic.
