TEI Negotiation Mode

By default, TEI Negotiation Mode is 'Automatic'
Note:
• GBR42 will get reset when TEI Negotiation Mode is changed for
any port.
Step 13
TEI Negotiation Value
• Program the value if the TEI Negotiation Mode is selected as
'Fixed'.
Use following command to program TEI Negotiation value for the
Fixed TEI Negotiation Mode:
518-NT Port-Value-#*
Where,
TE Port is from 1 to 2.
Value is from 00 to 63.
By default, TEI Negotiation value is 00 for both NT ports
Note:
• GBR42 will get reset when TEI value for fixed mode is changed for
any port.
• TEI value programmed for BRI-NT port should match with the TEI
value programmed in the Terminal Equipment connected with it.
