1. Repair the high resistance or open in the alternator output circuit.

1. Replace the ECU.

2. Was the ECU replaced?
1. Replace the alternator assembly.

2. Was the alternator assembly replaced?
1. Run the vehicle to verify the repair.

ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL
1. Park vehicle on flat and level surface.
2. Loosen negative (-) battery terminal bolt and
disconnect.
3. Remove four fasteners
cover.

4. Remove positive terminal nut
main charging lead from the alternator.
5. Disconnect the alternator electrical connector.
6. Cut the stretch belt and remove.
