ENGINE LUBRICATION
SPECIFICATIONS
NOTICE
Vehicle operation with insufficient, deteriorated, or
contaminated engine oil will cause accelerated wear.
AMBIENT
TEMPERATURE RANGE
-35 °F to +100 °F
(-37 °C) to (+38 °C)
-45 °F to +130 °F
(-43 °C) to (+54 °C)
Oil may need to be changed more frequently if POLARIS
oil is not used. Do not use automotive oil. Follow the
manufacturer's recommendations for ambient
temperature operation. Part numbers can be found in the
POLARIS Products chapter.
NOTICE
Mixing brands or using a non-recommended oil may
cause serious engine damage. Always use the
recommended oil. Never substitute or mix oil brands.
Always check and change the oil at the intervals outlined
in the Periodic Maintenance Chart. Always use the
recommended engine oil.
FLUID CAPACITY
Capacity: 5.5 qt (5.2 L)
* Additional oil may be required after complete engine
disassembly. Check level after filling and add oil as
needed.
