4.5 Laying Out Optical Fibers
When handling optical fibers, do not stand close to or look into the optical fiber outlet directly
with naked eyes.
The number of optical fibers in a corrugated pipe should be less than 60. Lead the optical fiber
through a corrugated pipe. The mouth of the corrugated pipe must be wrapped with the adhesive
tape.
The bending radius of the optical fiber should be more than 20 times the cable diameter. In
general, the bending radius of the optical fiber is more than or equal to 40 mm.
Affix the labels to the optical fibers at 20 mm away from the connectors at both ends.

The layout modes of optical fibers includes upward cabling and downward cabling. The following
introduces the upward cabling.
