Display error

State
Nothing is displayed.
Upper side appears black.
Irrational display
Pale display
Entire display is blackish.
LCD characters are skipped.
LED does not come on
LED is displayed in red.
"SNR ALARM" is displayed.

6.3.1.1. Checking the LCD/LED

Follow the procedure shown below to check possible display errors.

If dots on the LCD are missing or the LED does not come on, the
LCD/LED may have failed.
Obtain a measurement-mode display using the
ESC
key.

6.3. Error and remedy

 Power supply is not turned on.
 Low power supply voltage
 Fuse is blown out.
 Reverse polarity of DC power supply
 Turn the power OFF and then back ON again.
→ Proceed to "6.3.8.Remedying a hardware fault" if the problem is not
resolved.
 Low power supply voltage
 Reverse polarity of DC power supply
 Turn the power OFF and then back ON again.
→ Proceed to "6.3.8.Remedying a hardware fault" if the problem is not
resolved.
 Turn the power OFF and then back ON again.
→ Proceed to "6.3.8.Remedying a hardware fault" if the problem is not
resolved.
 Ambient temperature is low (-20  C or lower)  Increase temperature.
 LCD has reached the end of its service life.  Replace the LCD.
 Ambient temperature is high (50  C or higher)  Decrease temperature.
 Refer to "6.3.1.1.Checking the LCD/LED" for LCD/LED.
The dots on the LCD are missing or the LED does not come on.
→ Proceed to "6.3.8.Remedying a hardware fault"
 Check at "6.3.1.2 Checking the LED lit in red".
 Measurement is performed, however, the wave receipt status is poor.
→ Check at "6.3.5 When "SNR ALARM" is displayed".
